![]() The Dream Eater feeds off the chemicals produced by the brain during stress and thus, once it attaches to a host, it traps them in a nightmare to feed off these chemicals. When it has ensnared a victim, the purple, white and pink patches form a skull like shape. ![]() Its body is purple with a pink circular patch in the middle, as well as a white and two purple patches in the middle of that. It is about the size of a human head, with several long thin blue tentacles. To be fair, out of 500 games this season only 49 of them have been ranked games, rest were all normals. The Dream Eater is a strange creature resembling a jellyfish. Ive dropped pretty much an entire division (i think thats what you call it?) from Bronze 1 30 LP to Bronze 2 25LP playing mid, which was a little upsetting but expected. I decided to take him to ranked (solo this time) and was rudely awakened to the fact that I still suck at him a lot LMAOOO. ![]() I'm not saying I'm good at him, I'm saying that the people I face in normals either don't know what I do or don't know their own champion, which makes facing them and winning lane extremely easy and I feel like I'm simply not learning anything. Before recently, I almost never played ranked and would only play duo with someone when I did, but ever since I picked up Talon, playing normals has become pretty boring and too easy. On to my question: is it best to play solely ranked in order to just try and improve? I recently made the switch to mid from adc and my favorite champion so far has been Talon, though I'm still pretty bad at him and struggle with my mechanics a lot considering the only other assassin I play is Pyke and every other champion I've spent time on was an adc. What I try to do is shove the side waves and then group up with my team. If you try to side lane vs a leblanc for example, you'll get ganked in the side pretty easily and you do not have ample disengage. This season due to the lack of effective hp from items along with seraphs shield active being removed it makes it much harder especially due to some of the meta mid laners. Last season side laning was much easier because you could go seraphs embrace/barrier and effectively 1v2 the enemy team. Honestly, I think id say shes about equal with orianna and syndra, I dont feel like shes that much more or that much less intensive than them. An error in your positioning will result in either your death or your flash burned which is just never an ideal situation to be in. You need to constantly think about the threat the enemy team poses to you since you cant just dash out as you have absolutely no mobility. Id say cassio is fairly mechanically challenging because of everything you have to consider playing her. When you have poison + twinfangs you can do insane amounts of damage, but its always good to be aware of your mana since you'll go oom fairly quickly if you spam it. My main objective as cassio differs greatly from matchup to matchup, generally though you want to do your best to scale while also pushing the advantage you get from your level two powerspike. I pretty much stop trying to weave in autos when it gets to the mid game where the animation of my auto isnt worth going through because my poison e will just do way more damage. It'll maximize your damage and that combo will do a good 120-150 damage based off enemy resistances. So early on (as in level 1) your trade pattern should be aa + e + aa. If you have any questions you can pm me on reddit and I wont mind answering. Below are my socials if any of you are at all interestedĤ:21 AM Edit: That'll conclude my AMA, thank you all for participating and I hope you all reach your seasons goals. My goal with this AMA is to answer any questions you might have pertaining to the process of grinding/improving as well as any other general questions you may have. After hitting challenger with those champs I set out to hit it playing purely Cassiopeia which I managed to do a couple days ago. This season, I decided to expand my champ pool playing things such as Sylas, Yone, and Zed and managed to hit challenger with those champs. After coming back to the game during COVID stay at home orders I decided to grind league until I reached grandmasters playing purely Cassiopeia. Hello, my name is Sweet Tangerine and I've been playing league pretty on and off for the last 8 or so years.
